General
OAS – Outlook Assistant Suite is an extension for Microsoft Outlook that allows you to process recurring email automatically, intelligently archive email and keep your Outlook environment organised. OAS works directly within Outlook.
Yes. You can use OAS free for 14 days. After that, you decide whether you want to purchase an Annual Licence or a Lifetime Licence. The trial is not automatically converted into a paid licence.
No. OAS is designed to be configured and used through a clear and straightforward interface. When you start OAS for the first time, it helps you configure the most important settings.
OAS is available in 7 languages. You can select your preferred language in the OAS configuration.
Yes. While Outlook is running, OAS can automatically process new incoming email according to your active Cleanup rules. You decide which rules are active and OAS gives you insight into the processing that has been performed.
Downloading & installing
Yes. The OAS installer is digitally signed by Innosterex using a code-signing certificate. This allows Windows to verify the publisher of the installation file and whether the file has been modified after it was signed.
OAS is a new application and has not yet built up a reputation with Microsoft Defender SmartScreen. Windows may therefore display the message ‘Windows protected your PC’ during the first installation. This does not automatically mean that OAS is unsafe.
The installation file is digitally signed. In the properties of the downloaded file, you can check under Digital Signatures that the signature comes from Innosterex. We also publish the SHA-256 checksum of the current installation version on the OAS download page.
OAS is an extension for Microsoft Outlook. The Microsoft Office customisation is therefore also installed during the installation process. In this window, you can check that the name is OAS.OutlookAddIn and that Innosterex is shown as the verified publisher.
OAS 1.1.1 is designed for Windows 10 and Windows 11 and requires Microsoft Outlook for Windows.
Inbox Cleanup & Rule Management
Inbox Cleanup automatically processes recurring email based on rules you define. For example, newsletters, notifications, invoices and other recurring messages can automatically be moved to the appropriate folder.
Yes. You decide what a rule responds to and what happens to the message. Rules can be created, modified, tested, enabled and disabled. You can also create a new rule directly from an email, with OAS automatically filling in the available information for you.
Yes. Rules can be based not only on a sender, but also on criteria such as the email address or subject. This allows you to process different types of messages from the same sender differently.
Yes. You can test a rule before actually using it. This allows you to check which messages match the rule before enabling automatic processing.
Yes. You can start Inbox Cleanup yourself whenever you want. OAS can also automatically apply active Cleanup rules to new email that arrives while Outlook is running.
Smart Archiving
Outlook’s standard archive feature is primarily intended to move email from your active mailbox to an archive location. OAS makes archiving smarter: you can use your own rules and folders to organise email clearly. Instead of one large collection folder, you create an archive structure in which messages are easy to find.
Yes. You decide how your email is archived and can use your own rules and folders. This allows you to structure the archive to match the way you want to store your email.
Yes. OAS can organise archives by month, quarter or year. This prevents a single archive file from continually growing and keeps older messages clearly separated.
Yes. From OAS, you can make an archived message available again in the correct Outlook mailbox. By default, this is done safely by copying the message so that the original message remains in the archive.
Yes. From OAS, you can open and reply to a message in the archive without first having to find it manually in Outlook.
Yes. If a message is present in the archive but missing from the mailbox, you can restore it from OAS.
Yes. OAS keeps a history of completed archiving operations, allowing you to see when an archive was created and what the result was.
Follow-up
Follow-up lets you keep track of emails that still require action from you or for which you are waiting for a reply. You can create a follow-up directly from an email and decide when it needs attention. Open and overdue follow-ups are then displayed together in one overview.
Choose Action for me when you still need to do something with an email yourself. Choose Waiting for reply when you have sent a message and are waiting for a response from the recipient. This allows you to see immediately why an email still requires attention.
Yes. When creating a follow-up, you can choose options such as today, tomorrow, in three days or next week. You can also select a different date yourself.
When the selected date has passed and the follow-up has not yet been completed, it is shown as overdue. This makes it easy to see which emails require additional attention.
Yes. For a follow-up of the Waiting for reply type, OAS can automatically recognise an incoming reply while Outlook is running. The corresponding follow-up is then completed, so you do not have to update it manually.
Yes. From the Follow-up overview, you can open, reply to, postpone, complete or cancel a follow-up. This allows you to manage outstanding actions directly from the overview.
Yes. You can configure OAS to display a notification when Outlook starts if there are follow-ups due today or already overdue. You can enable or disable this notification in Configuration.
Licences & purchasing
You can choose an Annual Licence for €19.95 including VAT per year or a Lifetime Licence for a one-time payment of €32.50 including VAT. With an active Annual Licence, you also have access to future OAS versions and new functionality. A Lifetime Licence remains valid indefinitely for the major version you purchased.
No. The Annual Licence is not renewed automatically. Approximately one month before your licence expires, you will receive a reminder. You then decide whether to renew the Annual Licence for another year or choose another available licence type.
When your Annual Licence expires, your right to use OAS ends. Your data and email are not deleted as a result. You can decide whether and when you want to purchase another licence.
With a Lifetime Licence, you pay once and receive an unlimited right to use the major version of OAS you purchased. For example, if you purchase OAS 1.x, you can continue using OAS 1.x indefinitely and receive updates and improvements released within that major version. A future major version, such as OAS 2.x, is not automatically included in this licence.
You receive all updates and improvements within the major version covered by your Lifetime Licence. A Lifetime Licence for OAS 1.x therefore includes updates within OAS 1.x, but does not automatically include a future major version such as OAS 2.x. You decide whether you want to upgrade to a new major version later.
Yes. With an Annual Licence, updates, improvements, new functionality and new major OAS versions are included while your licence remains active. With a Lifetime Licence, updates and improvements within the purchased major version are included.
No. You do not need to provide any payment details for the free trial. Only if you decide to continue using OAS after the trial do you choose and pay for a licence.
